I am getting the following error on my site when doing a test run on purchasing tickets through PayPal Pro: “This transaction cannot be processed. The merchant’s account is not able to process transactions.”
I receive PayPal Pro payments on another site, so I am not sure why it isn’t working here. I have added my API credentials by copying and pasting and there aren’t any extra spaces.
Can you check to see if the PayPal sandbox option is enabled in the Event Espresso > Payment Methods settings? If sandbox is enabled, it will require sandbox API credentials for testing instead of live account credentials.
I got in touch with PayPal and it looks like it was a technical issue on their end. Thanks for the help.
