WordPress 3.5.1, Event Espresso 3.1.31.1 Just upgraded to this new version of EE, in case that was causing the issue. Registration page: http://tpwameeting.com/event-registration-2/
I have read the other topics related to this, and have gone through the troubleshooting checklist. I am not sure if I’ve fixed the problem or not. All the PayPal payments are showing as incomplete, although the payments are showing up in the PayPal account. I’ve checked for the 4 required pages and they all look correct. I did notice the “Exclude pages from navigation” plugin was excluding these pages, and so I deactivated that in case that was the problem. When I go to the Transactions page on the Internet, it shows “ID not supplied.” Is that correct? When I look at the Payment Settings section, it has a pink bar that says, “Deactivate PayPal IPN?” and “Attention! For PayPal IPN to work, you need a Business or Premier account.” I’ve gone into the PayPal account, and it is Verified and it is a Business account. Perhaps this is fixed, and it will show up on all future transactions? Is there any way to pull in the completed transactions from PayPal, the ones that have already gone through? Thanks. Carla |
Hi Carla, If you will fill out the form on this page, I’ll take a look at it for you: https://eventespresso.com/send-login-details/ |

Hi Carla, After logging in, I found 2 things. 2. You have, “Force HTTPS on Return URL” checked in your Paypal Settings. This should only be used if you have an SSL (HTTPS) on your server. It appears that you don’t, so I unchecked that. I’m almost positive this is what was causing the problem. |

Hey Johnathan, Getting that Force HTTPS box seemed to fix the problem! We got another registration today and it’s showing a green checkmark. Fantastic! So, I haven’t gone in and done the other change yet. Since it seems to be working, can I leave it the way it is? It is working so great and everything is in a great order with subheadings for each category. 🙂 Thanks, Carla

I think what Jonathan was referring to was there’s additional events being displayed on each step of the registration process. It would probably be less confusing if you had a separate page set up for an event list to display all your events. |
