Paypal complete payments no longer registering under Event Espresso

Hello

Everything has been working well for months & months. However, At some point as of maybe a couple weeks or so we stopped having Payment Completed transactions showing in Event Espresso, even though they are shown paid & complete in PayPal. This makes it very difficult to know who has paid or not with out logging into paypal first to find out.

I noticed there were some upgrades needed for plugins and I have run them recently so our main EE4 plug-in is: Version 4.9.36.p however, I was told that it did not look like this fixed the issue.

We are still monitoring to see if it corrects itself, but looking for assistance at this point. Can you help resolve this please?

Hi Jeff,

Updating to the current version should have fixed the issue for you. If you haven’t already done so, you can also switch from using PayPal Standard to use the new PayPal Express payment method. You can use the same PayPal account that you’re using now with PayPal Express, and we have a guide set up here that shows how to get your PayPal Express API credentials from your account:
