Hello,
I am using the placeholder [PAYMENT_GATEWAY] in email messages to administrator to have the possibility to understand how the customer is going to pay:
1. At Event (I am using the flexible payment method module)
2. paypal
3. Bank order
Unless the payment method, the placeholder show always “Receipt”.
I am using the module Payment Methods Pro.
Any help?

Is there some text missing from this line?
Does the shortcode always parse to show receipt no matter which payment method you use?

Exact! The shortcode parse always receipt unless I use paypal or bank order.

Can you let me know which version of Event Espresso 4 are you using?
Also which version number of the Payment Methods Pro add-on?

Hi Antonio,
The thing about the [PAYMENT_GATEWAY] short code is it will only show a payment gateway if a payment gateway is used. The Flexible payment method and the Bank payment method are not gateways, but PayPal is a gateway. You can check the transaction for the last selected payment method.

I understand. It could be useful in the feature to introduce a placeholder [PAYMENT_METHOD] to give the opportunity to see the payment method directly in the administration email instead going into transaction detail in backend.
