Hi,

You could try using the English (UK) language pack. It isnt fully complete, but I think I got most of the missing u’s and random spellings Americans like to use.

Changing it is quite easy, though it will require a file edit and to add some files in manually.

The first thing to do is to change the your WordPress sites language.

If you havent got UK English for the site as a whole dont worry, it will default to US language.

Then from here you will need to download the UK language file for Event Espresso – https://github.com/eventespresso/languages

Be careful here, Githubs downloading methods are a bit weird:

To download the PO file – left click the link on the main page and then right click the Raw button in the top right of the page that comes up and save as.

To download the MO file – left click the link on the main page, and then left click the View Raw text link in the middle of the page that comes up.

If you don’t do this you may end up with a MO and PO file that contains garbage data and the language wont work.
