Payment Received not working for Admin

The Payment Received to admin is not sending. In Messages it is grayed out but when I open the template it is set to “active.” How can I fix this?

Hi there,

A message template will be greyed out if the toggle is set to be inactive, or the is no shortcode in the ‘To’ field for the template (if the template sends to nothing, it is effectively disabled).

By default the Event Admin context on the Paymen Recieved message type will not have a shortcode set, so edit the template and add whatever shortcode you want to use there.

For the email address set in Event Espresso -> General Settings -> Primary Contact Email, use [CO_EMAIL]. If you want to use the email address of whatever user account is set as the author, use [EVENT_AUTHOR_EMAIL].
