Hi!

This seems like just what I am looking for. I see on PayTrace’s website you are listed as a partner. I was thinking that EventEspresso 4 is the best fit for my client and I am hoping that you can confirm EventEspresso 4’s compatibility with PayTrace as a payment gateway before my purchase.

Thank you,

Carly

Hi there Carly, we do not currently have a payment gateway for PayTrace.

I checked Mijireh which is a payment gateway connector to 70+ payment gateways but did not see PayTrace on their list:

http://www.mijireh.com/docs/payment-gateways/

Is there an another payment gateway that may work for your needs?

Thanks

Lorenzo

Thank you.

It seems as though it is only available for EE3. Is there any possible way to use a plugin of some sort to get PayTrace to work with EE4? My client has a close relationship with the company and does not want to use any other Payment Gateway.

Thanks

Hi,

The only way to get PayTrace to work with EE4 would be to create a custom gateway for it.

This can be done via us (https://eventespresso.com/product/custom-gateway-development/) or a thirdparty. Please note if done via a third party, support and maintenance for the gateway must also be done by the third party.

Please also note, we are changing how our EE4 gateways work in 4.6.0, so any development must take that into consideration.

Thank you Dean,

this may be a loaded question but,
is it at all possible to utilize a site redirect to collect payment information from the customer (via PayTrace). I am entirely new to this event registration/payment world so this may in face be an easy answer.

Best,

Carly

Hi Carly, that could be possible by providing a link to create / process a payment in PayTrace.

However, Event Espresso will not be automatically updated (notified) of that payment information.

It would be a manual process since you would need to manually credit attendees/registrants payments in the transactions details screen for Event Espresso.

Thank you,

Just to double check, it was previously mentioned that for Event Espresso 4 you are able to use Mijireh as a payment gateway facilitator. Mijireh does use a payment gateway called USA Epay that would work for my client. I just want to make sure that if I purchase the license for EE4, this payment gateway will be able to be used without trouble, updates will be provided and I will be given necessary support from Mijireh/EE4 moving forward.

Is there an additional cost for the use of Mijireh after the purchase of an EE4 license?

Lastly, is it okay to purchase the personal license for a business only running one website?

Hi Carly,

EE4 supports the Mijireh gateway and we will continue to provide support and updates for it for the foreseeable future. It has been incredibly rare for us to stop supporting a gateway that we have implemented.

We cannot guarantee that Mijireh will always support USAePay (it’s simply out of our control) but I can’t see them stopping support for it, as that’s kind of the point of the Mijireh service.

Is there an additional cost for the use of Mijireh after the purchase of an EE4 license?

Yes, Mijireh has it’s own costs, see here: http://www.mijireh.com/pricing/

EE does not add on any additional costs.

Lastly, is it okay to purchase the personal license for a business only running one website?

Yes that’s fine. The Personal is a bit of a misnomer in that it is not just for personal/private use, it just means it’s for a single site, business or otherwise.

Thank you so much!

This should be my last inquiry-

As far as PayPal goes, EE4 will accept the PayPal Pro account, correct? When signing up for the PayPal account, are there any specifics we need to be aware of- a setting or choice I need to select?

I do not see EE listed anywhere on PayPal’s site under Partners…I am not sure what this means. https://www.paypal-marketing.com/paypal/html/hosted/emarketing/partner/directory/v2/

I am assuming we just sign up for the PayPal (Pro) account and then enter in the API information into the EE4 settings. Just looking for some clarity!

Thanks

Hi,

No problem.

Yes EE4 accepts PayPal Pro. So long as it is a business account there shouldn’t be any issues.

Event Espresso has not signed up to be a PayPal Partner, honestly I doubt we will. It in no way affects anything and looks to me to just be marketing stuff.

Yes, you need to add the PayPal email, API Username, API Password and API Signature. You can get all of that from your PayPal account page.
