Hi –

I just launched an registration registration today and have an issue. 14 registrations came through fine, payments complete and received. The 15th is odd – payment is marked approved, transaction status complete, a PayPal transaction ID has been recorded, but no payment has been received.

Not sure what I’m missing!

Hi Dave,

Were those using the PayPal Express gateway or one of the other PayPal options?

If you go Event Espresso > Transactions and click to view the transaction details for that transaction, is there anything listed under Payments?

Interestingly – I’ve just figured it out. For whatever reason, the payment did come through from the person I was looking for. But, it’s not attributed to him. It’s attributed to the name and e-mail of a previous registrant. On EE, everything is fine. On PayPal, it says it came from someone else.

Weird!

Hi Dave,

Someone may have registered on behalf of someone else after registering for themselves. When they got to the PayPal checkout they would have the opportunity to input their own billing information there.
