Hello, I activated the PayFort Payment Method you recently released yet can’t configure it, under PayFort Settings in Payment Methods the available options are “Secret Key” & “Public Key” while these are not the setting used by PayFort or even written in Event Espresso help section.
Am I missing something? Thanks! |
“Public Key” should really be labeled “Open”. You can follow the guide from Payfort that shows how to get your API keys: |

Now I understand why I was confused, the integration you have is just for the “START” service which is currently only available in UAE, the rest of the countries supported by Payfort (KSA, Qatar, Oman, Egypt, Lebanon & Jordan) support the “THE FORT” not the “START” service which seems integrate differently. Could we expect the “THE FORT” to be integrated soon? I’m willing to provide access to my Payfort account if needed. Thanks. |
Hi there, I checked and there are no plans to build a Payfort fort integration. The Start integration was sponsored by an individual that has a Start account. |

Hi Mohamed, PayFort is expanding its START service to other countries as their FAQ (https://www.payfort.com/payfort-faqs/) shows that they are in private beta in these countries: – Qatar Have you had a chance to reach out to PayFort support for more feedback? — |

Hi Lorenzo, Thanks for your follow up, yes, I checked with my account manager last week and she said they hope to support it in the future, since it didn’t seem the near future I already starting working on integrating the Fort with Event Espresso. |
Hi Mohamed, I noticed you mentioned you were working on a Fort integration, just wondering how you got on with that integration and if you be interested in sharing that payment method with other users? We don’t currently have any plans to build a Fort integration without sponsorship but have had a couple of users inquire about it. |
