I need to create courses for a class as a parent containing the static class information such as title, description, and so on. The child would contain class details such as date, time, cost, and the like. Is this possible?

If not, is it customizable using the API?

Hi Cyndie,

We don’t have parent/child relationships in Event Espresso. However, it sounds like you could use Event Espresso 4 for this, as each ticket can be assigned a datetime, so they can expire and have their own capacity etc.

EE4 demo: http://demoee.org

Otherwise with EE3, I think the best option would be to create a standard WordPress page outlining the details and then embed the events via a shortcode ([EVENT_LIST]), to show the individual events – you could even filter them by category should you need several groupings. You could use Multiple Event Registration to allow an add to cart feature as well (EE3 only right now).
