Hello, Website: flherbconf.wpengine.com The user is reporting she is getting a Failed notice, which would make sense why the registration notifications aren’t working, but, what we can’t understand is why her registration process fails. Thanks for your help. |
|
Update: My developer is out of town, so forgive me for being a novice. There may be a setting somewhere that is affecting this, I just haven’t been able to find it yet in the documentation. Here is more to report after several other tests. The failure status occurs because Event Espresso is not consistently assigning Registration codes. Here is what we noticed. This was cross checked across several Macbook users and in safari and firefox. Thanks for your help and apologies if I am missing something obvious. |
Hi Emily, Is there an event that I could try testing a registration on? If so, can you let us know which one? This will help us to investigate. |

Here you go Josh, Thanks |
Hi Emily, Could you check with WP Engine to see if no-cache rules are setup for Event Espresso pages? http://wpengine.com/support/wpengine-ecommerce/ — |

We currently with wpengine have caching to be turned off for our Events pages: But wonder if maybe that we need to exclude all pages under “/events/”, such as: WP Engine is testing for us, as their initial changes did not solve the registration issue. I will repost when we hear more from them. Thanks Lorenzo and Josh! |
Hi Emily, I’d recommend they add these to the list as well: http://flherbconf.wpengine.com/thank-you/ and |

Thanks Josh and Lorenzo. This did the trick! |

Hi Emily, Are we OK to mark this as resolved now? |
