When the registrant receives an approval notification there is various html code showing in the sent email… for example

< tbody style=”margin: 0; padding: 0; font-family: ‘Helvetica Neue’, ‘Helve tica’, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;”>< td style=”margin: 0; padding: 0; font-family: ‘Helvetica Neue’, ‘Helvetic a’, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;”>

appears before the logo…

please help as these emails are a mess.

Is there anyway of just sending a plain text email with the info and how do i set this plain text version up to replace the current html version

thanks

mike

Hi Mike,

We do not currently have plain text emails within Event Espresso.

The CSS being shown within the emails usually happens when the emails are being marks as spam. Does it happen for all message types sent from the site?

If so we recommend using a transaction email service such as the ones listed here:

https://eventespresso.com/wiki/postmark-app-mandrill-transactional-email-handling-services/

That removes your hosts mail server from the equation and generally resolves the problem.
