how do I set up a notification email so that when someone registers I’m notified? |
Hi there,
For the most part, the default setup for Event Espresso should already notify the admin of Approved registrations, may I ask are these free or paid tickets? Do you want a notification only if a user completes and pays (if required)? Or for example, do you also want an email if they selected an offline payment method such as Invoice?
This depends on the specific message type being sent, I can add more details on this one I have the answers for the above, but for the most part: Event Espresso -> Messages -> Default Message Templates. The ‘Registration Approved’ message type is listed there and you’ll notice is has multiple ‘contexts’ (Event Admin, Registrant, Primary Registrant) each of those can be edited independently. For more details on message contexts, see: https://eventespresso.com/wiki/messages-system-working-with-message-contexts/ Clicking to edit the ‘Registrant’ context for that specific message type allows you to change the details sent to the customer when the ‘Registration Approved’ message type is triggered: |

Hi Matt! We are sorry to delay with this.
If you want to receive an email every time a payment is received, you need to put the email under the “Payment Received” on Event Espresso > Messages > Default Message Template > Payment Received > Edit Event Email
Make sure you are going to the Registration > View/Edit Contact Let me know if it helps! |
