Hi – I have a client that wants to sell multiple events with multiple modifiers of the price. So, for instance, she wants: I ran across this in the forums and was wondering why only EE3 allows multiple questions. Or am I reading this wrong? https://eventespresso.com/topic/price-modifier-add-on-does-this-work-with-ee4/ Also, to have multiple event registrations going simultaneously like the one above, we would have to have a business license, yes? https://eventespresso.com/wiki/how-to-sell-multiple-ticket-types-simultaneously/ Thanks! |
You will want to use Event Espresso 3. The Price-modifier add-on was a quick add-on built by one of our developers for another client and we’ve tried to repurpose it for use in Event Espresso 3. That particular add-on is not available with Event Espresso 4. Multiple Event Registration is currently supported in Event Espresso 3, and it’s in active development for Event Espresso 4. |

“Multiple Event Registration is currently supported in Event Espresso 3, and it’s in active development for Event Espresso 4.” Does this require the business license or would it also work with the personal? My client has a limited budget. thanks! |

Either the EE3 personal or business licenses come with EE4 included, so you can set it up on a dev site and play with it until you feel that it’s mature enough to move to. |

Sidney, so if I read correctly (this would answer my pre-sale question), if we buy a EE3 Business license, we can upgrade to EE4 anytime we feel it is stable enough/has enough features? We were a bit reluctant at first to buy “old” software. If this is correct that wold make us happy 🙂 |

@Ricardo, Buying EE3 now will give you access to EE4 as well. Not all of EE4’s addons will be available that way though (e.g. if you buy a personal EE3 licence, you won’t get access to EE4s ticketing addon as the EE3 licence doesn’t cover it). While EE3 is being replaced slowly but surely by EE4 we are continuing to support it, though new features may dwindle, and it is fully fledged software more than capable of running events large and small. If you want to test out EE4 risk free, head over to http://demoee.org and give it a test drive. |
