I updated to both the current version of EE4 and the Calendar today – and now the tool tips are not appearing when you mouseover the events. I checked in the calendar settings to make sure they were enabled and they were but still nothing appearing. http://theurbanartbar.com/reservations Please advise….Thanks Frank |
Does the same thing occur when you temporarily deactivate other plugins? There are multiple JavaScript errors on that page: http://cl.ly/image/1g0v3w2g3M35 — |

I deactivated all the other plugins and still had the same result, no tool tips. I have done nothing to the site other than upgrade EE4 and the calendar plugin. Prior to the upgrade tool tips worked fine. |
Hi, The calendar runs through JavaScript so broken JavaScript on the page will interfere with it. The errors are related to Google Maps. Does your theme or any plugins use Google Maps (other than Event Espresso): http://cl.ly/image/013F3Y3L2C3k If you aren’t sure, then briefly switch to any WordPress theme and refresh the calendar page. Be sure to restore your plugins and theme after testing. — |

So that appears to be the problem – any thoughts on how to resolve it? |

Hi, While the maps issue is definitely something that needs attention, it looks like the tooltip issue is coming from a conflict between the tooltip code and the theme loading a JavaScript library called Isotope (used for grid like layouts). A quick Google suggests that this is a known issue: http://craigsworks.com/projects/forums/showthread.php?tid=4342 Further info regarding the map issue: It looks like the Theme and a plugin called Form Maker are both trying to load Google Maps API (I can’t be 100% sure that it’s those but it looks like it). You could check to see if either of those has an option to disable the maps, check the appropriate forums for resolutions or disable the plugin/theme. |

I disabled Form Maker and still had the same issue – Where do I find the calls for those javascripts as I can’t seem to find them anywhere – The fix looks simple I just can’t find the appropriate file to make them in. |
Hi, This is the location: /wp-content/themes/bigbangwp/javascript/jquery.isotope.min.js?ver=4.0 — |
