Hi there,
We use EE for registration for a trail race each year. Last year we opened registration, sold 34 tickets then had to cancel due to covid. The event is on this year and instead of getting refunds we told people their entry would be good in 2021. I first tried just changing the year of the event and that seemed to work fine until I looked at the registration page which had an alert saying: We’re sorry, but all ticket sales have ended. Note to Event Admin: No tickets were found for this event. This effectively turns off ticket sales. Please ensure that at least one ticket is available for if you want people to be able to register.(click to edit this event)” There are tickets available but I am guessing that the old ticket purchases in that event are triggering this issue.
I could try duplicating the event and then trying to move over the old entries. Do you recommend this course? Is there an easy want to port the tickets/entries into the new event?
Thanks,
Alice
Thank you. That was enough of a clue for me. I went back and examined that section and found that the ticket sale end date was 2020 not 2021. Hopefully this can help someone else if they run into the same issue. Great plugin and support. Thanks!
I’m glad you found the problem and thank you for posting an update for others 🙂
Any further issues/question just let us know.
