Hey EE peeps. I am struggling with getting EE to validate name and email fields. I have verified that the theme is breaking it:

I have attempted to update the jquery that the form is loading in it’s library.php filed:

wp_deregister_script( ‘jquery’ );
wp_register_script( ‘jquery’, ‘http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.8.2/jquery.min.js’ );

This was set to 1.7.2, but I have updated it to 1.8.2 – still the same issue. Curiously, when I complete an event registration and click the back button to the form, the event registration validation works?!

I have trolled the forums and am looking for a miracle as we go live with this site one week from today. Any thoughts on that? Thanks in advance for your – digging EE!!!
