Hi there,

I have multiple events set up, but there are no events showing on the UK vector map.
Each region on the UK shows 0 events.
I have setup all the states for the venues and the events have the venues assigned to them. So as far as I am aware I have set it up correctly.
I even ensured the state “CODE” for each UK region matched what was expected in the vmap.js file

I can see that the events should be listed out in the “hidden_states” DIV tag, but this is empty. I can also see that there should be a relational table for the venues/events – however there is no such table within the database.
So I assume the fact that this table is missing are where my troubles are?

Any help appreciated, I can’t figure this one out.

Thanks
Tristan

Hi,

The Vector Maps addon is not compatible with EE4. it will only work with EE3.

Ahh, ok, thank you for the info.

Will there be support for this in EE4 at any point in the future?

Thanks

Hi, this is on the add-ons list but we do not have a release date available at this time.

Ok, thanks guys.

Is there any way I can install EE3 instead? Or will this be impossible now I’m up and running on EE4? There are other features I need on EE3 too…

Cheers

Hello, you can move from Event Espresso 4 to Event Espresso 3 but no information will be migrated. That is, the process will be similar to creating a new install.

Copy out any existing information such as event information into a document. Then deactivate and remove Event Espresso 4 along with any add-ons.

Then download and install Event Espresso 3 along with any add-ons from your Event Espresso account page.

There are four WordPress pages that Event Espresso 3 uses. Please ensure that these shortcodes are set correctly via WP-admin –> Event Espresso –> General Settings –> Page Settings.
