We (my organization) are approved with Authorize.net to use CC’s and E-Check. But plugin only allows for CC. Can you add option for E-Check? <or> provide option to use Authorize.net’s payment form rather than payment form from EE4. |

E-check allows a user to pay providing their bank routing # + bank acct #. This is not the same as “bank draft” or “cheque”. |
Hi Rick, I checked into what would be involved with adding this and it turns out this would involve building out an e-check gateway for the Authorize.net AIM payment method. I can add it to the feature request list, however it may take some time before we can add it. If you’re interested in sponsoring the development we may be able to move it up in the development queue. |

I could probably easier help with the actual development rather than the sponsoring of it, although I did pass your comment on to others in our organization. No promises there. If I can be of some assistance, my PHP skills are shallow. Rather than write code, I would more readily be able to modify/reuse someone else’s well-written code. Thanks again Josh! |
Hi Rick, While we’re not able to provide support for building new or modifying existing gateway code, the AIM gateway that’s within Event Espresso 4 is well written code, and it has hooks that can be used for modifications. If you find a place where a hook would be helpful, we encourage developers to submit pull requests via github. You can sign up for Github access here: |

Can you give me some kind of an estimate as to what building out an e-check gateway would cost and what kind of time frame we would be looking at? Also, I have a wish list that I have been keeping of different features for EE4. How might I submit that to you? |
Hi Rick, Please get in touch through this brief form and a team member will follow up with you: https://eventespresso.com/rich-features/sponsor-new-features/ Regarding a wish list, our support forums are the best place to share those ideas. We’ll then share them with the development team. There are other deciding factors but generally if an idea has multiple applications for event admins in different industries, then it is likely to be accepted. If it is for a special case scenario (niche use), then it is unlikely to be accepted. — |
