Has anyone received this error before? “No configuration section has been provided while attempting to save “_Config”. EE_Config – _verify_config_params – 367″ IT happens on a page where I try to show events using: Any ideas? |
Hi Stephen, If you edit the page with that shortcode on and update the page, making no changes. Does the event list then work? |

I’ve gotten that same error when posting a short code in a sidebar widget. -Eddie |

– I’ve improved some wording and saved, still the same error. The error happens on LearndashLMS course, so will investigate further in that direction. |
If you could start your own thread providing details of the error we can investigate further. We have not found a common ground with this error as of yet so the more details you can provide the better. Are you using the LearnDash Add-on? Can you please link me to a page with the error? |

Given its the exact same error, wouldn’t it make more sense to keep the two threads together until we have arguments to suggest that they are in fact different issues? Either way, could you (gmarshall) post the link in this thread for future readers? yes, I’m using the LearDash add-on. |
We recently did exactly that with this same error but it become confusing for the users once we split the thread, so we try to keep each issue separate and work through them individually. Although “No configuration section has been provided while attempting to save “_Config”. EE_Config – _verify_config_params – 367? may be the same, the cause will likely be different. Could you enable WP_Debug so we can view the full error please? I suspect this is an issue with the LearnDash Add-on as the shortcode works fine within a standard page. |

Hi, I’ve enabled debugging and installed the “Debug this” plugin. Unfortunately, that doesn’t get us closer as the page fails before the output rendered. I don’t even see the wp admin menu btw. I do not share your suspision regarding plugins as the error clearly shows EE_Config which indicates Event Espresso to me. I do agree something is going on between the plugins. Anyway, we are both speculating at this stage 🙂 I’ll do some more trial-and-error to get some more symptoms to get us closer to a solution. |
Hi, We are currently doing some additional testing on this and will update this support post once we have more information. — |

Hello, A fix for this issue was included in Event Espresso 4.4 which was recently released: https://eventespresso.com/wiki/ee4-changelog/ https://eventespresso.com/2014/09/major-release-update-event-espresso-4-4-0-p-now-available/ — |
