I currently have my event set to pending payment as the default registration status however registrants are not receiving notification automatically. I can resend the registration details via the “Event Espresso – Registrations” dashboard which works successfully. Is it possible to send a pending payment email when someone registers? I’m currently using EE Premium 4.4.6.p and have the mailchimp, calendar and social sharing plugins installed. The registration page is http://sydney.anglo-indian-reunion.com/events/reunion2016/ Regards John |
Hi, a transactional email service like Mandrill or Postmark app can help with your sporadic email issues: https://eventespresso.com/wiki/postmark-app-mandrill-transactional-email-handling-services/ They will take over sending email from the native WP_mail() and they’ll also help prevent emails from being marked as spam. The Registration pending payment is on if the event admin and primary registrant links appear blue: http://cl.ly/image/3I2s1c211d0W In the screenshot above, there are two recipients for this message contexts. The first is for the event admin and the second is for the primary registrant. If either links appear grey on your system, then they are disabled. You can enable them by clicking on the recipient and then entering a shortcode in the TO field. The [EVENT_AUTHOR_FORMATTED_EMAIL] shortcode is used for the event admin and then [PRIMARY_REGISTRANT_EMAIL] shortcode is used for the primary registrant. Be sure to enter the shortcode for the correct recipient. — |

Hi John, Your images appear to be restricted but if those are for the registration pending payment emails, then you would first need to resolve the email delivery issues. Email delivery is pretty tricky and a service like Mandrill or Postmark app can help with that. Did you register for one of those services and get setup with one of their plugins for WordPress? — |
