I’m using version 3.1.36.6.P.
My goal is to sell multiple tickets for one event. For example, (Adult, Child, Senior, etc).

I’ve followed these directions https://eventespresso.com/wiki/how-to-sell-multiple-ticket-types-simultaneously/

but when I go to my events page it doesn’t show any of my ticket options.

Hi,

The event registration page won’t show it. If you go to the event list page you will see the Add to Cart link with each event (from the Multiple Event Registration addon). Once this is clicked and the user then clicks view cart, they will be able to purchase multiple tickets per event.

You can add this to the event registration page via a shortcode, and even remove the registration form if you wish: https://eventespresso.com/wiki/multiple-events-registration-use-add-to-cart-link-instead-of-default-registration-form/

I hope that helps, but let me know if you have any other questions.

Sorry, I may not have been too clear. I have one event and i just want the ability to select different ticket types when you click on that one event. For example, child tickets for $7, adult tickets for $16. Stuff like that.

After I’ve clicked view details on my event I see the details and stuff, but no ticket options. I think it’s suppose to be a drop down menu too. Maybe there’s a shortcode i’m suppose to insert?

Hi,

OK I see what you mean. No there is no shortcode for it, it should just automatically turn multiple tickets on an event into a dropdown (screenshot http://take.ms/cpEHz).

Can you:

Confirm that the event has more than one ticket?
Provide a link to your website (ideally to the event list page)?

Ok, This is the list of tikets types http://ctfaire.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/list_of_ticket_types.png

and this is the events list page http://ctfaire.com/event-registration/?event_id=1

Hi Eric,

Can you confirm that the following tutorial is not in use?

https://eventespresso.com/wiki/multiple-events-registration-use-add-to-cart-link-instead-of-default-registration-form/

If it is in use, then you will not see a dropdown since that pricing has been moved to a shopping cart. You should see a Register link. If you click that link, then you should be brought to a page to see all pricing options.

If you are not using that option, then please temporarily lift the member’s only setting via the event editor and save so we can view the full single event page.

Ok, I turned the members only setting off, sorry about that.

The tutorial I looked at did use the cart, so yes I have used the tutorial you’ve linked me.

Also, I apologize Dean. I realized I didn’t want the drop down menu on the event details page because a customer wouldn’t be able to multiple tickets of multiple types at the same time.

So I would like a working “register” link on the event details page instead (like in the tutorial I was reading), and then be directed to a page with this

https://eventespresso.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/view-cart.png

When I click register for event on this page, http://ctfaire.com/event-registration/?ee=1

This has only redirected me to what I think is the page with the list of events and not the “cart” page.

Sorry for any confusion and thanks for all the help so far!

Hi,

The tutorial does set the register link to take you to the shopping cart.

Double-check your Event Espresso pages. There are four WP pages with shortcodes that need to be set correctly.

It can be found here:

WP-admin –> Event Espresso –> General Settings

If those are set correctly then search your WordPress pages to see if there are duplicates. For example, the Espresso_Events shortcode which handles registration should be used once on your site.

I have have found a duplicate and removed it.
I have also tried disabling all plugins except all of the plugins that came with the EE3 business pack.

No luck yet.

Hi, could you let us know what the duplicate was?

The correct flow for registration depends on those four shortcodes being set correctly.

Also, did you check Event Espresso –> General Settings after removing that duplicate shortcode?

The duplicate was [ESPRESSO_EVENTS]. All the shortcodes are now set exactly as they should be.

I’m going to try starting over completely, there has to be something i’ve missed.

Hi Eric,

Could you please create a temporary WordPress admin login so we can take a closer look at this issue?

Please share that temporary login through the secure link below:

https://eventespresso.com/send-login-details/

To prevent delays in troubleshooting, be sure to double check your information on the form before submitting.

The submit button for the form appears at the end of the form.

Again, please ensure that the temporary login works.

Thank you.

Lorenzo
