Multiple Error Messages for Registrations

Hello

My event espresso is giving registrants a variety of error messages when they try to register for events. Some registrations and payments are going through while many are not. I can get these error messages randomly:
-Event is not accepting payments at this time
-Information does not match any valid registrations
– this field is required (even when fields are all filled)
-nothing in your event queue
– and the newest- request failed to pass a security check

I have tried adding pages to never caching. I have godaddy, called their tech support to see about increasing memory. They indicated that the event espresso plugin probably needs reinstalled. Please help!

Hi there,

The error messages indicate a caching issue and not an issue with the plugin installation or even memory. Can you or one of Godaddy’s support techs follow the steps this guide?

Had godadddy change the name of the caching file and turn it off although they told me they did not recommend it. Registrations went through after this. Now today, error message of failed to pass a security check is displaying

We don’t exactly recommend using Goddady for hosting either. Can you check to see if the object-cache.php file is not in the /wp-content/ directory of your website? If the file was added back, it needs to be deleted again.

I have no clue how to do that. I cant even login to my sftp on firezilla. This is beyond frustrating. I have had issues with this since I have started using this plugin. Its great when it works as it should.

Godaddy should be able to help you get up and running with sftp.
