I have a series of six events which are all part of package seminar series. The user will register and pay for all 6 seminars at one since its a package deal. How do I set this up so all six show up on the calendar but they only have to pay and register for the package, not each individual event?
If you are using Event Espresso 3, then you would need to create the 6 events. After creating them, you would edit events 2-5 and in the Alternate Registration Page (optional) option of each add the URL of the first event.
This will then mean that no matter which event the user selects, they will be sent to the first one to register.
Dean, so it looks like all of the seminars show in the list of events?
I’m having a similar problem with class registration. A drawing class lasts for 4 weeks taking place every Monday but I don’t want an event for EVERY Monday, I want them to show as 1 event. Is there a way to hide events after the first one?
On the right side of the individual event, under “advanced options” and “is this an active event?” Select “No” It takes it off of the Event Registration Page.
The only thing I’m left worried about is the Event Date only lists the first Event. It would be nice to either
1. Remove it and just have the event date range in the description or
2. add the end date (April 28-May 19)
Setting the event to be ‘Not Active’ effectively removes the event from the front-end of the site, it will not be displayed within the Calendar or any Event Listings almost as if the event had not been created, is that something you intended?
