All of my incoming Event Espresso emails are coming in with multiple
being added above the header creating a large section of whitespace. This pushes the email copy far down the page. I’ve attached a screenshot below.
The actual templates are clean, and don’t have these
included.
Then try another test registration or try resending the registration details through the registrations overview screen by using the button in the actions column at the end of the page.
If the new email also has those, then try a transaction email service like SendGrid or Postmark app which will take over sending emails for your entire WordPress site.
I’m sorry for the delay in responding to your support token request. I logged into your site and see that you’re already using Mandrill. It turns out there’s a setting in the wpMandrill plugin that can cause the issue you’re seeing. The option is:
Replace all line feeds ("\n") by
in the message body?
I went ahead and unticked its box and updated the settings. I’m working on verifying whether this change makes the difference, but it may be best if you can run a test to confirm whether that fix the issue you reported.
Thanks, Josh. It looks like the Mandrill edit did the trick. Thanks!
