We need to quote to do some work on a site that uses Espresso, one of the requirements is to breakdown their “events” registration process from one big form (about 90 fields) into bite-sized pieces – either multi pages, tabs, an accordion, ect…
As we haven’t got the job yet we have no access to their site or the plugin files so can’t look into the problem easily. There is another post in the forum asking the same question but I can’t see the answers from the support staff as I haven’t purchased the plugin.
Is this sort of customisation achievable with Espresso?
Yes, I know it’s a really long form, but it look s like it is all needed, otherwise you could have a sort registration form and then a long followup secondary form.
The form will have the following groups of questions:
• Crew Member’s (purchasers) details
• Travel Insurance
• Next of Kin
• Medical Declaration
• Marketing
• Booking as gift?
in all, the above consist of 90 odd questions. As one long form it is mammoth and thus a little off putting to the visitor – plus on a smartphone it is just silly.
Ideally we would like each group to be viable one at a time, breaking it all down into bite-sized pieces. Fill out the group of questions, click next, hide that group and show the next group, rinse-and-repeat. Exactly how your current default 2 step process works.
