Hello again guys, When creating a new event you can choose an “event promotion percentage rate” that will end at a certain date. There is currently one date aka. 1 Event Promotion date/step. I want to be able to put 3,4 or 5 different event promotion dates. Here is my example: Event Price: 100$ How can i achieve that? If EventEspresso cant do that as it is right now, do you have any idea how i get towards it? Thanks 🙂

Hi Morten, How are you today? Event Espresso 3 only has one date/time discount function available. In EE4 you have the ability to create multiple tickets for a single event date/time. Each ticket can also have their own start/end dates, so you can effectively create new tickets that go on sale and end whenever you want…and each ticket with a later date can have a different price. The added benefit of EE4 is you will have a better idea of how well each discount amount and time period is selling individually, rather than all early-bird discounts together. Does that make sense? If you’re interested in getting access to Event Espresso 4, please see our Alpha testing instructions: https://eventespresso.com/wiki/alpha-testing-instructions/ |

Helllo Garth, I am well thanks 🙂 However, when i read what you wrote to me, i dont get the impression that you 100% grasped what i meant. What i mean is, 1 event will have a changing price over a period of time. That is possible now, but only with 1 fixed date. I want 1 event to have multible fixed dates where the price will change. So in essense its just an event with a price that becomes higher/lower with a certain interval until the given event registration date is meet. So i am not talking about multible ticket or something like that. |
Hi Morten, I think I understand your scenario. I know you can’t add new early-bird dates to Event Espresso 3 so I was explaining what can be done with EE4. Take a look at the ticket options here: http://demoee.org/garth/events/jedi-hall-of-fame-ceremonies/ Notice the graduated dates and graduated pricing. |

What´s the release date on EE4? |
Hi Morten, Currently we do not have a release date for EE4. It is possible to achieve the discounts you need if you manually adjust the date and discount amount on the date that the previous promotion would finish. So you would setup early bird discount for 25% expiring on January 5 2014, then on that date you could manually alter the data/discount to give 20% expiring on January 10 2014 etc Does that help? |

Regarding EE4, i understand. Regarding my question. Having different dates on each event, will making the manuel work a full time job. Ok, i think that my question is resolved now. Its not possible unless i basically re-code the whole Event Promotion module. |
