Registration page in question

I am building a ticketing system for boat rides. We have prices for different age groups (adult, child, senior etc.) And I want it so someone can purchase multiple tickets of each pricing option in one go.

I purchased the Multiple Event Registration add-on, which showed a dropdown next to different pricing options, but that isn’t want is showing up on my site. How do I get this to work like that?

Thanks!

This may be what you’re looking for: https://eventespresso.com/wiki/multiple-events-registration-use-add-to-cart-link-instead-of-default-registration-form/

Every time I disable the registration form, the price options go away.

Also, in the screenshot of the Multiple Event Registration add-on page, it shows registration that has the pricing options static instead of inside a dropdown. Is it supposed to do that on its own?

Are there instructions on how to get it to look exactly like the screenshot on the purchase page for Multiple Event Registration?

Hi Christina,

When you disable the registration form, the price options will go away from individual event views and instead display on the cart. You can add the add-to-cart link shortcode to the event description and see how that works. Or instead you can go to this page:

http://www.lasallecanalboat.org/event-registration/

and click where it says “Add to cart”, then click view cart and you’ll see all the price options that can be selected.

With your other two questions, I’m not sure what you mean by static instead of a dropdown. The quantity is selected by a dropdown, but each price is listed in a table row. Here’s a screenshot from your site as an example.

This helps a lot. I guess I want the options available while in the cart available on the individual event page instead. I think people are used to selecting quantity before adding to cart, not after.

Hi Christina,

This is something we are working on for Event Espresso 4.0 where you’ll be able to select quantities of tickets without adding them to a cart.

The above suggestion works around the current version’s limitations.
