Hi there – I was searching the forums and see there was an integration with Moneris in EE3. I’m using EE4. I also see a suggestion to use Mijireh.

Is there any possibility of an EE4 integration with Moneris so I wouldn’t have to use Mirireh?

This is a new website. I don’t have any merchant account setup – so I’m open to all options. I’m located in Canada.

Thanks, Dere

Also – any feedback on Mirieh? I have not used it.

You can vote on the Moneris integration on our public roadmap here:

We also have information about custom gateway development here:

Other than that, Mijireh is probably your best bet. I know it’s not perfect but it seems to work for most customers.

Please let us know if you have further questions.

Thanks, Seth.

One last question (I hope). I can use Moneris merchant account with Braintree as the gateway. Or, I can use Moneris with Mijereh. The cost differences are negligible. Do you have any recommendations or feedback on the two options? I have not used either, but would like the most professional, reliable and secure.

You help is much appreciated. Thanks,

Derek

Mijireh is probably the more reliable and secure option of the two, and it looks professional because they do a good job with making their payment page match your site. The nice thing about Mijireh is they handle the PCI Compliance so you don’t have to.

If you go with Braintree the payment form is on your website so you’ll need to add SSL to your site, set the site to load as https, and use SFTP when you transfer files. Which are all recommended anyway.
