Hi All,

I have the following url:

https://example.com/wp-json/ee/v4.8.36/events?calculate=image_large&include=Datetime,Datetime.Ticket,Datetime.DTT_EVT_start&order_by%5BDatetime.DTT_EVT_start%5D=DESC&limit=999

I was wondering how to pull through categories. Ideally, I’d like to exclude a category (e.g. category != ‘shoes’).

If not just including the categories is fine and I’ll write something to check and exclude events with a category.

Many thanks

Josh

I can point you to the general documentation:

https://github.com/eventespresso/event-espresso-core/blob/master/docs/C–REST-API/ee4-rest-api-GET-filtering-results.md#related-resources-fields-are-also-queryable

Please note the Gotcha explained there because that will affect a query to get events where a specific category was excluded.
