I finally deactivated the Seating Chart and we are trying out the MER addon. I followed instructions from here: https://eventespresso.com/wiki/multiple-events-registration-use-add-to-cart-link-instead-of-default-registration-form/ and do see the Link to register the event. I have a couple of issues now: |

forgot: please indicate on what style sheet et on what other files we should make the customizations to carry over our changes to future version updates. |

To make changes to the link styles I cannot seem to single out the class of the links for View Cart, Register tickets…etc using MER. Somehow the styling gets applied to all links on the page and sidebar. |
Hi Florian, I will endeavor to follow up with each of your questions below:
If you’re not using a child theme, another good way to keep all your CSS changes safe from upgrading is by using the Reaktiv CSS Builder plugin
This is because the start time and price are included with the display of the registration form. The reason the start time and price are included with the registration form is because they can be selectable items. If you need to include those on the view details page, they can be added to the registration_page_display.php template by means of shortcodes. https://eventespresso.com/wiki/shortcodes-template-variables/#event-price https://eventespresso.com/wiki/shortcodes-template-variables/#time-date
There is some documentation on how to style links as buttons here: https://eventespresso.com/wiki/using-css3-to-style-links/
It should continue to say view cart if the event has been added to the cart. View cart buttons are basically a link to your cart page. So they can be added to the site’s navigation or into a widget, within a template, or within a page template.
Yes, the instruction text can be added to the template. For example if you want the text to be added on the view details page, you add the text to the registration_page_display.php template. |
