In EE for the event KIROS Bellevue Event – 7/8/2022, I have been trying to use the small envelope icon to resend registration details to attendees. At the top of the page, a note says the message was sent. The attendees have not received the messages and when I look in EE messages, they are neither queued, failed or sent. Any ideas on how to fix this? Thank you! |

Hi Kiros, Apologies for the delayed reply. Are the registrations you are resending messages for Approved or Pending Payment? If you go to Event Espresso -> Messages -> Settings. Under the email section, is the toggle switch shown there green? Like this: https://monosnap.com/file/ejREZF1ed69oAQevGf7dM3LRlbidno |

I’ve nearly the same Problem. We changed our E-Mail Provider and the last sending Mail Adress is not existing an more. So where may I change it. @ Tony Your Picture is looking exactly like mine… |
@HST with all due respect that sounds like a very different problem 🙂 By default Event Espresso uses the ‘Primary Contact Email’ for the from address, that is set within: Event Espresso -> General Settings -> You organization However, if you are using a plugin to send your mail through your provider, it is also possible that the plugin is setting the from headers itself. |
Tony, The toggle is on. The registrations are all approved. This only occurs when clicking the mail button on the right of registrations (to resend registration details.) Messages for when registrations are initially made are approved are being queued then sent. |
Well, that’s … odd! That button triggers the same message template as the above. Have you checked the server’s error logs for any errors from Event Espresso during those requests? Is any custom code running? (There are filters which can disable messages) |
I checked with our developer: Deactivated plugins and tried again with no luck. No error messages either. No custom code. Do you have any solutions to this problem? Thanks! |
Is this happening for just one specific event? Are you using a custom message template on that event or the default/global template? To check, edit the event and look in the notification section, does it show them all as ‘Global’? Like this: https://monosnap.com/file/18IL9MqvSosYtyPyW1cC3bHMoagDZy |

https://eventespresso.com/topic/messages-not-sending-5/#post-334726 Continuation from the post above. I tested for multiple events. When I click the mail button, I see this message at the top: “Messages have been successfully queued for generation and sending.” However when I check for queued messages, that message is not listed. To answer Tony’s question: The are shown as Global. |
Yeah, this is really strange and I can’t reproduce it. So, just to confirm, if I go to Event Espresso -> Registrations, find the registration listed there and then click on the icon: https://monosnap.com/file/Dx30vHw4TTlGSoe7PS8RU7KGRntUwc My message is queued to generate: https://monosnap.com/file/Wn3ZeZl4dMQtkfKolpTrHjlMdnb74W Also works from Event Espresso -> Events -> {hover over event} -> Registrations — Can you add a screenshot of the page you are viewing right before you would click the icon, please? https://eventespresso.com/wiki/troubleshooting-checklist/#screenshots |

Any update on this? |
Hello, I am looking for an update on this? Thank you! |
Hi there, My apologies here, I’ve tried everything I can on multiple different test sites to try and reproduce this but I can’t. Can I take a look in the admin, add a registration to an event to go to me so I can try retriggering the registration emails and see what the request is doing? If that’s ok you can send temp login details using this form: |
Tony, I just tried this again with the 10/14 event, saw this message “Messages have been successfully queued for generation and sending.” However, no message was queued or sent. I will fill out the login details. |
Hi there, I’ve replied to your directly via email with some details on this. Please follow up there so we can confirm how your event needs to be set up to fix this. I’ll post a follow up here once fixed for any future readers of this thread. |
