Messages do not auto generate

Hi

We have had problems because the messages do not auto generate. Everything works as it should if we do it manually but it won’t do it automatically which as a result causes lots of customers complaining because they receive no email.

But the problem is this setting does not exist in EE4 ?

Event Espresso > Messages > Settings, then you set Generate and send all messages: On the same request, then click Update.

Can we please get some support on how we can make sure messages are generated automatically

Hi David,

If messages are not automatically generating it usually means wp_cron has been disabled on your server.

If you install this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-cron-status-checker/

Then run a check on wp_cron, what does it show?

But the problem is this setting does not exist in EE4 ?

Event Espresso > Messages > Settings, then you set Generate and send all messages: On the same request, then click Update.

If the settings is not available that usually means you are using WordPress MultiSite and the option will only appear on the main network site. (Or you are using an older version of EE that doesn’t have the option).
