Message stucked in queue/generating

Hi
We have bunch of messages stuck in generating or queue for sending. After switching the send method to “on same request”, it kind of solve the problem, but sometimes we don’t receive it too.
Does it help if we change to other mail service like Mandrill?
or other services described here:

Switching to that option will only prevent that problem for messages trigger after the settings was changed, it wont fix existing messages with problems.

Do you still have messages in the queue that will not generate currently?

Does it help if we change to other mail service like Mandrill?

Yes, for mail delivery issues we do recommend using a transactional email service however that’s not going to fix issues with the messages queue if your messages are still stuck waiting to generate.
