MER+PRICE MODIFIER

I’m using Multi Event Registration with Volume Discounts, successfully!
I have, however, the need to provide customers with the supplements (for example: single room: € 28.00, double room: € 50.00).

How can I accomplish this?
I read that the ‘Price Modifer Addon’ doesn’t work with MER
Is there an alternative to the ‘Price Modifer Addon’?
And if not, can you tell me how much it costs to customize the ‘Price Modifer Addon’ in order to make it work properly with MER?
And how long it takes to make the customization?

Thanks in advance

Best Regards

Please, can anyone answer me?

Hi,

The price modifier will work, but not always as intended for MER, as it shows as a discount but actually adds the price still.

If you are interested in sponsoring further development you can request it via this form https://eventespresso.com/contact/customization-request-form/

Is there an alternative to the ‘Price Modifer Addon’?

Whereas the costs of the supplements are constant, is there an easy way to insert them in php if the customer chooses them?
For example, a customer buys its tickets (eg: 2 adults and 2 boys) and then choose a supplement that costs € 50,00 (constant value)

It’s possible with an if statement, insert the supplement at the cost of tickets and update the total?

I attach a screenshot so you understand better what I mean

Hi,

There is no alternative, what you are after would definitely need to be custom developed.

I’m using the ‘Price Modifier Add-on’ with ‘MER’ and despite some limitations, it works. The only problem, is presented in the administration panel where the variable is not set when I view the attendees.

I’m attaching a screenshot to help you understand what I mean

However, the variable is saved in the correct way because it is present in the generated excel file when I export the attendees

Hi,

What version of the Price Modifier are you using? It seems to show the data fine with version 0.0.3.1.b

Hi Dean,
I have the version you wrote: 0.0.3.1.b

I also tried to change the select with radio buttons and checkboxes but but does not work. The selected data are not set

Is the data being passed to the admin with a normal (not MER) registration?

No Dean,
I wrote above that I am using MER + Price Modifier.
I know that price modifier is not designed to work properly with MER. However, for what I do, it can be adapted.

The only problem is to retrieve the information into drop down menu of admin panel

Hi Marco,

I am aware that you are using MER but I am wanting to rule out a general bug as I cannot recreate your issue.

In my test sites it does pass that data over with MER.

I am not sure why it is not doing so for you, I would perhaps rule out any other modifications you have made and/or other plugins.

Hi Dean,
I solved the problem by replacing the file EE_Price_Modifier.class.php with a new one.
I do not know why but now it works!

Thanks for the support
