Unfortunately Event Espresso has no control over the emails once sent. It depends on the type of ‘bounce back’ you are receiving.
We have the Email All Attendees feature but this is heavily dependent on server configuration and the amount of attendees the event has. Shared hosting will very likely fail on bulk emails with many attendees.
There are just too many variables for us to be able to support and as such we recommend using a service such as MailChimp for sending out mass emails.
Does your client have multiple emails setup for the Primary contact email (General Settings page in Event Espresso)?
