good morning,
I would like to know if there is a way or a tool to add tickets to a transaction through cash desk ,
I would need this feature to find the new ticket added when i use the look-up functino through the app, as from the entrance ticket I can also view the purchased packages .

thanks

Hi Easynetwork,

As it stands now Event Espresso does not have a feature that allows for manually adding tickets to existing transactions. That said, if you manually add a registration to an event and input the First Name, Last Name, and email address of an existing Contact (listed in Event Espresso > Registrations > Contacts), then the new registration will be listed in that Contact’s list of registrations.

Ok but how can manually add ticket to an existing attendant or registration?
or just add ticket to a attendee already registered?
thanks

You can’t add another ticket to a registration, but you can add additional registrations to an existing attendee but creating a new registration using their First Name, Last Name and Email address in the personal information fields.

or just add ticket to a attendee already registered?

I think there may be some crossover on what attendee and registration is here.

An attednee can have multiple single and/or group registrations assigned to that attendee.

You can’t add another ticket into an existing single/group registration but you can add additional registrations to the attendee by using their details in a new registration as above.

So if you want to add an additional registration you can go to Event Espresso -> Events -> {hover over event} -> Registrations.

At the top of the page you click ‘Add new registration’.

Select the ticket(s) and use the attendees contact details for First name, last name and email.

That creates a new registration assigned to the attendee/contact.

Is that not what you are looking for?

I need to scan one code and have the possibility to check all the other ticket bought by that attendee.
This is what appened when i use the lookup function in a normal ticket.

I want only to add tickets to this account or transaction in a manual mode to lookup also the new ticket in real time added toh the code.

We want to print and use only one qr (the entry ticket) for checkin manually all other ticket with the lookup function (we don’t want to ask attendee to print all ticket but only one)
thanks

Ok, you are scanning a ticket that is part of a group registration (the user selected X amount of tickets and placed a registration in one go) so you can see of the registrations in that group.

I want only to add tickets to this account or transaction in a manual mode to lookup also the new ticket in real time added toh the code.

You can not ‘add’ an additional ticket to that registration group, you can add another registration to the EE attendee, but that will NOT show up if they scan a ticket from another group registration.

The only way to do what you are requesting is to cancel the original group registration(s) and create a new group (selecting the correct number of tickets), you can do this within the admin and copy the attendee details yourself when creating the group registration if you don’t want the attendee to have to re-register.

If you find the attendee in the registration list for the event, does it have 1/X, 2/X, 3/X? (X being the total number of tickets purchased in the group), for example – http://take.ms/7CAO0

We want to print and use only one qr (the entry ticket) for checkin manually all other ticket with the lookup function (we don’t want to ask attendee to print all ticket but only one)

You can do that if you follow the above, but the user will receive a new ticket when you do, they will need to use the new ticket and not the original one.
