Hi, I would like to make the event attendee reports available to a group of non-admin users. Currently, these users are subscribers and get an error message “You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page” when trying to use provided link for a specific event: http://d37toastmasters.org/wp-admin/admin.php?page=events&event_admin_reports=charts&event_id=1 |
Hi Jake, Are you using Roles and Permissions? You’ll need to grant them atleast the Espresso Event Manager role. |

Jonathan, I have User Roles and User Permission available in Dashboard under Espresso Settings. Can you provide a little more detail on how to setup user ‘x’ for viewing attendees reports? On the same note, I need several registered website users to be able to check people in at the event, collect cash or personal check at the door and update the attendee status manually. I would appreciate a wiki article or post you can refer me to so I can set it up. Thank you, Jake |
Hi Jake, You can set the user’s role in the User settings. Here is the documentation on the Roles and Permissions Basic, which you have with your Business License: https://eventespresso.com/wiki/roles-permissions-basic/ |

Thank you for the Wick post. I followed the instructions: 1) Created a new user 2) Assigned Espresso Master Admin role to this user 3) Setup 4 roles: espresso_event_admin, espresso_event_manager, espresso_group_admin, and read 4) Logged out as an admin and logged in as the user created in step #1 5) All I see in WP Dashboard is Event Espresso | Staff Manager When running the link listed at the beginning of this post, I still get the same error: You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.

Thank you. Event/Attendee Listings Page was not set to Event Admin. All is well. The user ID now has the ability to run the reports. Is there a way to reduce the access only to run reports, but not being able to modify the existing events or even restrict access to a specific event? Thank you, Jake |

Hi Jake, I don’t believe the access is that fine tuned, its a case of access to the Events Overview or not. Sorry about that. |

Hi Dean, Thank you for your response. That’s fine, is there a way to submit an enhancement request? I have several features I would like to see implemented down the road. Thank you, Jake |

Hi Jake, We dont currently have an accessible list, but feel free to list them here and I can add them for you. If for any reason you prefer to do it privately you can email support at eventespresso.com and just mention that they are feature requests only. |
