I have mailchimp setup on all of my events, separate mailchimp list for each, and on almost all of my events the people register for only a few o them get put onto my maichimp list. I just had an event with 7 registrations and only 2 of them ended up on my Mailchimp list.

Hi there,

We received your priority support request. I checked what this looks like is only the approved registrations are getting added to the mailchimp list, which matches what’s set in the settings. Since you want all registrations to get added to the mailchimp list, you can change the Mailchimp’s “Submit to MailChimp when …” setting to something other than “registration is completed with an approved status”.

Please consider removing the customizations that were made directly to the core plugin. Those can be placed into their own plugin. There were some issues with 4.9.33.p that have since been fixed so you will run into some other issues as long as the software is out of date.

I will try that, but it not all approved registrations were added to the list. My other concern is I have 35 list in Mailchimp but on the Events drop down to pick the list it only show 26?

You’ll note that not all approved registrations should be added to the list. These include any registrations added via the admin side, and with the settings you have, any registrations that were manually approved via the admin side.

I can add a custom functions plugin to your site that will include a filter function to bump up the mailchimp list limit. You’ll be able to add your other customizations to that same plugin.

can you make the list list unlimited?

No because MailChimp expects a number. Will 100 lists be sufficient?

You can edit the limit by going to edit the “Site plugin for aim.institute” plugin file aim-institute-customizations.php.

The limit is set on line 12.
