Hi Event Espresso team and community,

I would like to ask a few questions that I am stuck on at the moment.

I have the full lisence with all the add ons.

1) I am using the ticketing addon. I cannot see anywhere in my editing area to customize the tickets in terms of putting my logo in, a header image or anything else I can customize.
I am stuck at this point:
Setup and Configuration
Login to your WP dashboard and go to Event Espresso –> Ticket Templates.
My dashboard does not have “ticket templates”. The add on is active,. I have tested it and received a ticket. I just cant customize it.

2)I would like to customize the header in all email communications with my customers. At the moemnt. there is a grey rectangular box with the name of my company. I would liket to remove that, and just have my logo. Is there a way to do this?

3) In all email communications to admin and customer, the venue is not showing up for the event booking. I have put in the venue in the event ticket background, and event page. Can you please help to trouble shoot with this?

4) I have a number of mailchimp lists, and I would like to direct each ticket to a certain list, depending on the event they have selected. I would also like to have a tick box on the registration form where the user can optionally optin to our newsletter, rather than just receiving an email to confirm subscription. Is there a way to do both these things?

I have screengrabs for many of the things mentioned above if it helps. Is there a way to attach them to this forum?

That documentation is for EE3.

With EE4 you need to go to Event Espresso -> Messages -> Default message templates -> Ticket.

Yes but to do so you will need to create your own message templates which requires custom coding, are you comfortable with PHP?

Can you explain this further please? The venue information should show up on the registrants registration approved email. I’m not sure what ‘Venue within the event ticket background, and event page’ means.

Maybe include a screenshot that shows the problem?

You can assign a mailchimp event list to the event, not the ticket. So any user that register onto Event A (using any ticket on that event) can be added to List A, any user that registers onto Event B, will be added to List B and so on.

Not currently, we have a ticket to ad an ‘opt in’ type question to the registration form in a future version but its not currently availabel within the add-on.

Thanks for your replies. That is great. Can I ask a follow up question?

1) Is there a way for me to include a link to my terms & conditions in the forms, and have a tick box next to it (eg ” ‘tick box’ I agree to the Terms and conditions (link) ” )

You can do that with a custom question:

Event Espresso -> Registration Form -> Add question.

Add a checkbox question and then add your link within the question – http://take.ms/RRxyh

Is that what you are looking for?
