MailChimp List only shows Do Not Send to MailChimp

When creating or editing an event, the MailChimp List only has Do Not Send to MailChimp listed. This has worked well in the past so I know my key was OK. I’m not sure when it stopped working but it did work 6 weeks ago. I tried downloading the add-on again and reinstalling, using the WP default theme, disabling most of the add-ons but it just acts like it is not communicating with MailChimp. My lists are OK in MailChimp and my MC key has a green checkmark in the EE4 MC add-on. and I even tried creating a new key. There is no API communication shown at MailChimp. I am up to date on EE4 and the MailChimp Add-On……Any ideas?

Hello,

Could you temporarily deactivate all plugins on your site and then reactivate only Event Espresso and the MailChimp add-on?

Then go to the MailChimp settings and re-save.

Afterwards, when you browse to the the event editor, do you see your lists appear in the dropdown?

Hi Lorenzo, I just deactivated all plugins and only activated as you said and saved MC settings, I also switched to Iced Mocha theme to be safe. The lists are still missing on new and existing events.

After more investigation, MailChimp is blocking the mail IP address of the server my site is located on. I have a static IP but the server IP is indeed blocked. I found this out by installing the MailChimp for WP addon and trying to connect. Their fault handler showed the 403 Forbidden error. It would be great if any future releases of the EE4 MailChimp addon could show connection errors instead of the green checkmark after the key. My host, Inmotion Hosting is looking into moving my site to a different server to fix the problem for now. Thank you…I will change the status of this topic to resolved.
