Hi … I have added a Mailchimp Addon and set with an API Key from Mailchimp.
Selected not to double opt in and to submit when subscriber submits info.
The Mailchimp list is correctly selected on the Events page.
However, the email is not being added to Mailchaimp.
A look at the Mailchimp API Call shows : 103.9.171.246 lists/list
Which I understand by Mailchimp Support should be “lists/subscribe”
Can anyone assist as to how to rectify this issue ???”
Much appreciated for any support.
Cheers
Deb

Hi Deb,

Are you using the latest version of EE core (4.9.7.p) and MailChimp (2.3.2.p)?

Just to confirm, if you view your MailChimp settings they look like this – http://take.ms/DW0mb

And on the event settings it would be – http://take.ms/wqj6H

Within the API calls is there any with a red X in results section when you register the user? If so for what call?

Do you have any other MailChimp plugins installed currently?

Hi Tony
Yes, EE 4.9.7.p Mailchimp 2.3.2.p
No other Mailchimp plugins. I do use Mandrill for email delivery.
I tried all three settings for Mailchimp but currently it is “subscriber submits information”
Events settings shows the correct list “WA Cider Festival” (which has been created at Mailchimp. Mine does not have any groups and it doesn’t have the “list fields” or “form fields” showing like you image shows.
API calls has green ticks with one exception:

1.Last entry had a green tick:
2016-08-13 11:55:51 GMT nope 103.9.171.246 lists/merge-vars json 0.011s PHP-MCAPI/2.0 2.0 n/a
2.Entry before that had a red tick:
2016-08-13 11:55:51 GMT nope 103.9.171.246 lists/interest-groupings json 0.036s PHP-MCAPI/2.0 2.0 (200) List_DoesNotExist
3. Entry before that one was green tick:
2016-08-13 11:55:51 GMT nope 103.9.171.246 lists/list json 0.034s PHP-MCAPI/2.0 2.0 n/a

Hope this helps.
Thanks for your assistance

That’s very likely a symptom of the problem, the mailchimp add-on needs those fields to know who/what to subscribe to the list.

Was this event duplicated from another or is it a new event?

If you create a new test event does it show all of the fields within that event?

Hi Tony …. I have 4 events and 3 were duplicated, which is where my Test ticket was running from …. So you are right …The duplicated events are missing the “list” and “form” field inputs. I have recreated the events and they are now showing the fields and working. Wonderful! Really appreciate your assistance once again.
I have one more question for you …
I have two Event Espresso accounts for two different websites.
I accidentally purchased a “Ticket Bar Scanning Addon” on the other account and now it is sitting over on that account instead of this one … is there a way of transferring that purchase across to this account so I can get the auto updates?

Great, the sales team will get that fixed up for you…

I’m glad its working for you, however that should not happen and I can’t reproduce this on any of my test sites, could you provide more details?

You created a single event and duplicated that event 3 times for a total of 4 and all of the duplicates did not show the merge fields?

If you create a new duplicate (from any of now your working events) does the same happen again?
