Hi,
I am thinking about buying the mail chimp add on but I am a little unclear as to what this add on specifically does?
I am familiar with mail chimp and I know what can be done in mail chimp. I also am aware that mail chimp is free to sign up.
I also know that I have mail munch set up and that I can link it directly to my mail chimp account. See http://www.artnook.org/who-we-are/contact-us/
But what does having the add on do?

How are you today?
The MailChimp add-on allows you to configure the list and group(s) that an individual is added to when they register for events. I’m uncertain whether Mail Munch can add your Event Espresso data to MailChimp unless it has been programmed to do that specifically.

This is Cindra actually. But I am great today! Hope you are well.
I am beginning to understand. Does the mailchimp add on have the option of replacing the mail munch mail subscriber with their own version of it? Or is a mail subscriber not included?

The MailChimp integration for Event Espresso 4 is specifically for Event Espresso, it will not work elsewhere in your website because it is not designed to look for other types/sources of user records/email addresses.
Each attendee will be added to the list/group(s) you select once they register.
