localhost registration issues

hi,

i registered my license with a localhost site and then deleted it. i started one with the same name but it says that its already licensed to the old deleted one. i requested for a reset but then i am charged $10??

why is this? and why should i pay for a license to be removed from a localhost site?

i don’t understand?

I went ahead and reset your license key. Since the key has to do with the 1-click upgrades, it’s not really necessary to set the key on a development site. You can do manual updates on the development site, and wait to set the key on the live site.
