Hi!

I used EE a few years ago and now I want to try EE4.

It’s possible to install the plugin on a multisite and limit the creation of events every child page? Could only create events that allow the administrator

Thanks

Hi,

We have not done thorough Multisite testing with EE4, but it is highly probable it will work.

However, at this time there are no roles or permissions plugins available for EE4 (in fact there are no plugins at all – please see this article https://eventespresso.com/2014/02/event-espresso-4-beta-officially-released/).

Therefore there is no built in way to stop people from accessing things. You could try using a thirdparty membership or role restriction plugin but we have not tested those.

Ok. Thanks

It’s possible to have two prices in a group registration? I need to do in one step 4 entries with a price and other 3 entries with another price, for example.

Hi caleidoscopic,

Yes you can have multiple ticket types within a single registration with EE4.

The tickets are displayed within a ticket selector, you can chose the tickets you want then register for those tickets in one registration. For example, here’s 4 different ticket types, each with different pricing http://take.ms/3z9yF

Hope that helps.

I just bought EE4 and looks great

Some questions:

1. It’s possible to remove ‘show details’ for each type of ticket?
2. Will it be available soon an add-on for different types of role? I need a type of user who can only view the event attendees and manage events created but not create new events
3. It’s not possible to be adding attendees one by one instead of choosing the number of attendees?

Thanks!

Hi,

1) This can be done with CSS. Add the following to your themes style.css or better yet a plugin such as My Custom CSS

.display-tckt-slctr-tkt-details {
display: none;
}

2) We cannot currently comment on when the different addons will be available for EE4. Sorry about that.

3) I’m not 100% sure what you mean. If you mean tot limit the registration so a person can only by a single ticket per registration then you can do that by changing the “Maximum number of tickets allowed per order for this event:” option in the event editor to 1 – screenshot http://take.ms/Jr5V5

If you mean something else, please advise.

I don’t know if I explain well.

It’s possible to change the way we choose the number of attendees? Can I write the quantity rather than choose from a list?

Can I add or remove any when I’m in the “Attendee Information”?

For example: I choose 10 tickets of a price and 2 tickets for another price. When I’m in the “Attendee Information” I need to add or delete one. Do I have to return to the first step to choose all over again?

No currently, the only option currently available is using the dropdown.

Can I add or remove any when I’m in the “Attendee Information”?

You would need to back out of the registration and re-select the ticket quantities you need.

Hope that helps.

Thanks! Another question

Can I add an amount for concepts such as “t-shirt”, “food”, etc?

Sorry for the inconvenience, this is my last question for today 😉

Sorry for the inconvenience,

Its no inconvenience 🙂

Currently you would need to add these as ticket types that users could chose along side there original ticket. EE4 does not currently officially support ‘add-on’ items such as these at this time.

Can I download a .PO for translation? I think the file on GitHub is for EE3

It’s possible to choose different “group of questions” for different tickets?

Hello,

Please download your file from the glotpress site:

https://eventespresso.com/glotpress/projects/event-espresso-4

EE4 does not currently support question groups on a per ticket basis.
