Hit the activate button after successfully uploading the final plug in ee core reg, my website has gone – vanished into thin air! Not a happy bunny I can tell you, it was uploaded onto the latest version of WP, everything else seemed fine…anyone any ideas, advice etc?
Is this a new install of Event Espresso or were you running version 3 in the past and are now wanting to migrate to Event Espresso 4?
Please login to your WordPress site with an SFTP or FTP client. Then browse to this location:
wp-content/plugins/
Locate the Event Espresso folder and rename it by adding a number or a letter to the end of the folder name.
This will deactivate Event Espresso and should restore your WordPress admin. Once you have logged into your WordPress admin, please reverse your changes to the folder name using your SFTP or FTP client.
I was uploading manually and yes it told me if I had already uploaded the other plug ins but not with this one!
I tried activating all plug ins on EE4 but it wouldn’t allow it – so went back to EE3 all new to me today.
Just trying to get my head around the plug in now!!
Thanks for the additional information. You can’t run both versions at the same time so that may have contributed to the error (if they were both active).
If you would like to test out EE4, I recommend getting a demo site here:
