Hi, 2 issues here but I think they are part of the same thing. 1. I’m having the same issues as this thread. https://eventespresso.com/topic/using-multiple-event-registration-and-user-integration-get-an-empty-cart-when-r/ I am using WP-Members plugin which keeps users on the front end of the site. 2. This relates to this post which I’ve now been able to replicate. https://eventespresso.com/topic/payment-failures/ The issue is intermittent and not always happening. I replicated it on an iPad. When trying from a computer it worked ok. Thanks |
Hi MR DECLAN J MAIR, These are actually two separate, unrelated issues. For issue 1 you can follow the solution posted in that other thread: For issue 2, you’ll need to deactivate caching for the registration-checkout and thank-you pages of your website. Also, if there are any garbage collection tasks that run on regular intervals, that can also cause the intermittent errors like in your screenshot. The way forward will be to contact your host and let them know that you need the sessions to persist and the two pages (registration-checkout and thank-you) to be served dynamically. |

Hi Josh, Issue 1 is resolved by added a re-direct back to the basket. Issue 2: Sorry, I have no idea what garbage collection tasks are… Thanks |
You can ask your host about the garbage collection tasks, they should have an idea.
I doubt it because the screenshot with the error happened on the registration-checkout page. If you continue to see that error on the registration-checkout page that may an indication that the caching plugin is interfering with the session state. |

Hi, Just to update I have spoken to the hosts. They advised to disable the caching plugin at the moment. This has something to do with the garbage collection tasks… |
