I am having issues with the “Promotions Affect Taxes” setting. I want this to be Yes – but it keeps switching back to no.
This has previously been addressed here: https://eventespresso.com/topic/issue-with-promotions-affect-taxes/
This was apparently fixed in the newest update, however, I have updated the core plugin and promotions add-on and the issue is still present.
Currently using WordPress 4.5.3, the core plugin is Version 4.9.2.p and the Promotions add-on is Version 1.0.8.p

Hi there,
You can use the ‘promotions_affects_taxes_yes’ function within the documentation here:
https://eventespresso.com/wiki/ee4-promotions-add-on/#customizations
That will force the promotions system to always default that option to yes.
You can add that to a Custom Functions Plugin within your child themes functions.php file.
