Invoice payment option not showing

Hi, I need to update the address showing on the order confirmation, but there is no invoice option in my payment methods to edit (as suggested in other forums).
Could anyone go into the back end and add the invoice option back for me?

Hi there,

So if you go to Event Espresso -> Payment methods, Invoice is not listed at all?

If it is not listed go to Event Espresso -> Maintenace -> Reset/Delete Data (tab)

On that section click on the ‘Reset Event Espresso Capabilities’ button only.

Now go back to Event Espresso -> Payment methods, is it listed now?

It’s not listed at all, and I tried resetting that, it’s still not listed.

Hi Tara,

It looks like you’ve renamed the Invoice payment method to ‘Prepaid for event’ so the Invoice payment method is showing, but it shows as the above.

I’m guessing thats been done so you can use that option in ‘payment methods’ available when you apply a payment in the admin?

Thanks Tony. So, for whatever reason, I can’t turn on the “prepaid for event” payment method. I click on it, it says “click to activate” and when I click I get a blank screen. Any chance you could turn it on from your end? I remember having trouble with this before, I just don’t remember how to get past it. Same thing happens when I try to activate other payment methods too.

Yeah, that’s from the version of Payment Methods Pro on the site, its an old beta version and there has been a lot has changed with it since that version.

I’ve de-activate that add-on on the site, are you using features from that add-on?

THANK YOU!! I don’t believe I was using it, and I was able to go in and change our address. Thanks again!

Grea and In that case, I recommend deleting that add-on.

You can grab the latest version from your account page if preferred but if you’re not using it you may as well just delete it from the site, that version of Payment Methods Pro is outdated now and causes issues like the above.
