Invoice payment method getting marked paid issue

Hello I am still having this issue:

when a checkout occurs and they choose invoice as the payment method, some transactions are getting marked as ‘completed’ and they show PAID status yet no payment was applied. HELP!!!

May I ask does the registration status show “Approved” or “Pending Payment” for those?

we set it to “approved” BUT the transaction status shows complete even though there is no payment.

You’re manually setting the registration status to Approved on these registrations thought the admin? So when this happens the registration status remains Pending Payment and the transaction shows complete, but then your manually updating the registration status to Approved?

Have you customised the Invoice payment method at all?

no I am not manually setting the reg status. the event is set up so that once the registration checkout is completed it sets the registration status to approved. this is in the event edit page. on the right near the bottom.

we have not altered the invoice payment method.
the system is just marking the transaction completed if they choose invoice and showing it paid even though no payment is recorded.

Ok, I understand the transaction is showing as complete and we are trying to narrow this down some as up until now it wasn’t clear how the registration status was getting set to Approved.

So you have a Default Registration Status (DRS for short) of Approved.

we have not altered the invoice payment method.

Ok, do you have ANY custom code hooking into Event Espresso at all?

If you view one of the transactions this has happened on and click that ‘View additional transaction session details’ (just below the ‘transaction items’) which steps are complete? (A screenshot might be best).

Also the users that this is happening on, are they registering multiple times? Possibly multiple events?

It does seem to happen to people who register for more than one ticket. there was one other instance. possible to email you screenshots?
